    Description

    Antique Elijah Burritt Astrological Map of the Constellations.  This framed map is of the December, November and October sky. It has hand colored engravings of the constellations, star positions and magnitudes, Earth's orbit and the Meridians. Pegasus, Lacerta, Andromeda, Cetus, Aquarius, Aries, Phoenix and others are shown. It is marked, "Plate II, Hartford, Published by F. J. Huntington 1835, Entered according to act of Congress Sept. 1st 1835, by F. J. Huntington, of the State of Connecticut. Engraved by W. G. Evans N. York, under the Direction of E. H.   Burritt."  18.5 x 16.6 inches with frame, 15.5 x 13.5 inside.  Shipping is free only within the US.
